Maybe it sounds like:

“I don't feel like myself right now.” “Why is this so hard for me?” “I should be able to handle this better.” “I don't trust myself the way I used to.”

If any of that resonates — that quiet, persistent sense that something is off, even if you can't fully name it — that's exactly where we begin.

You don't need a crisis to deserve support. You just need to be ready for things to feel different.

A steady place to begin

Everything you're experiencing makes sense.

That's not just something I say to make you feel better. It's genuinely where I start — with the belief that your thoughts, your reactions, your patterns, even the ones that frustrate you most — make sense in the context of your life and experiences.

My work isn't about pushing you to change or helping you become someone new. It's about helping you understand yourself more clearly, so you can feel more grounded, more connected, and more like yourself — maybe for the first time in a while.

We'll pay attention to what's happening in your mind and in your body. We'll move at a pace that feels steady, not rushed. And nothing will be forced.

River rocks aren't shaped by pressure — they're shaped by consistent, gentle movement over time. That's how I think about this work.

You are welcome here

This space was made for you if...

You're a woman navigating a transition — in your identity, your relationships, your sense of self — and you're not quite sure who you are in it.

You feel emotionally stretched thin, even when you can't point to one specific reason why.

You tend to hold a lot together for others while quietly wondering why it's so hard to do the same for yourself.

You've been pushing through — and you're tired of it.

You're not looking for someone to fix you. You're looking for someone who can actually help you understand what's going on inside.

If that's you — I'm glad you're here.

A little about me

I'm Dana — therapist, mom, and someone who genuinely believes that understanding yourself is one of the most important things you can do.

Before opening my private practice, I spent years working with children and families in schools, nonprofits, and government settings. That background shaped the way I see people: always within the full context of their lives, their relationships, and their experiences — never in isolation.

When I became a mom, something shifted. I found myself navigating the kind of overwhelm and internal unsteadiness I had helped so many clients through — and I understood, on a whole new level, what it means to need a space that is both gentle and grounding.

That's the space I've tried to build here.

I work primarily with women who are navigating transitions, identity shifts, and the kind of internal experiences that can feel like a lot — and who are ready to understand themselves more deeply instead of just pushing through.

You don't have to keep making sense of this alone.

Reaching out is often the hardest part. If you're not sure where to start, a free consultation is a low-pressure way to ask your questions, share what's been going on, and get a feel for whether working together might be a good fit.

There's no obligation — just a real conversation.
